Windows NT4 Migration to Samba-3 Seminar

AUUG announces Windows NT4 Migration to Samba-3 Seminar to be held in Sydney, Melbourne and Canberra.

SYDNEY, Australia -- 28 April, 2004 -- AUUG, the organisation for UNIX and Open Source professionals, today announced a series of one-day seminars in May, on migrating file sharing services from Windows NT4 to Samba-3. The seminars will be presented by Open Source guru John H. Terpstra.

Samba is a key integration component with an important role to play as Open Source, Open Standards and Interoperability grow in importance to both Government and industry. John H. Terpstra is a member of the Samba team and author of the best selling "The Official Samba-3 HOWTO and Reference Guide" as well as the newly released "Samba-3 By Example". Seminar attendees will receive a free copy of "Samba-3 By Example - Practical Exercises to Successful Deployment" which will be used during the seminar.

Both AUUG members and non-members can attend with discounts for AUUG members, members of affiliated organizations and students. Registration for the seminar is $500 for AUUG members, $575 for associate members, $650 for non-members and $100 for full time students.
